The Museum on Tower Hill will be hosting some spooky Halloween fun on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m.
With all this talk about the haunted school bell, the spirits are getting restless and are planning to take over the Museum on October 29th! Walk through our haunted exhibit before gathering your courage for what waits in the basement. The Carling Fire Department has sent some ghouls to haunt the Founder's Room downstairs and it sure to be creep-tastically fun! After exploring the Founder's Room haunted house, join us upstairs for refreshments and test out our sensory boxes filled with unspeakable weirdness. Last but not least, put in a bid for your favourite pumpkin in our Carved Pumpkin Silent Auction. While placing your bid, make sure to also vote for the Spookiest Pumpkin as the winner will receive a cash prize!

Are you gifted when it comes to carving pumpkins? Think you might be the best in town dicing up faces on orange orbs? Put your pumpkin where your mouth is and enter a frightfully pleasing carved pumpkin in our Carved Pumpkin Silent Auction.
With a participation fee of $5.00, carvers will be given a pumpkin to create their masterpiece. The winner of the Carved Pumpkin Silent Auction will receive a cash prize. To register and pay your $5.00, visit us at the Museum! Registration for the contest closes on Sunday, October 22 at 4:00 p.m. Pumpkins can be picked up at the Museum on Thursday, October 27.
~RULES FOR PUMPKINS~
The sky is the limit! Pumpkins can be as simple or as elaborate as you wish, just keep in mind that children will be at the event so let’s keep it PG. Feel free to run your pumpkin ideas by the staff if you’re concerned about your design.
