Lisa Taylor-Bushey presents on local land registries

Lisa Taylor-Bushey is the executive assistant for the Township of Carling. Previously she worked for the Land Registry Office.

Prior to our meeting, Lisa will be going through the Museum’s archives to understand what the Museum has/ does not have in our collection of Parry Sound District land registries on long-term loan from the Archives of Ontario. Lisa will be discussing how to read and understand land registries in our collection, and what information you need to have before searching the registries.

Fees
Fees for the genealogical club includes 9 meeting's throughout the year, presentations from guest lecturers and subscriptions to services such as Ancestry. Prices are $40 per year, $20 for those with a Annual Pass to the Museum or $6 for individual meetings.
