Walking With Our Sisters is an international exhibit that will be making its Ontario debut in Parry Sound on January 10, 2014. The art exhibit honours and remembers missing and murdered indigenous women in Canada. 1,725 pairs of moccasin tops have been created in response to the 600 plus indigenous girls and women who have gone missing or been murdered in the last 20 years. These tops are intentionally not sewn onto moccasins to represent unfinished lives.
