Help the Museum on Tower Hill with our Community Art Project!

Spend your family day weekend at the Museum and help us complete our community art project. On Saturday, February 15 & Sunday, February 16, the Museum will be running a drop-in workshop where individuals can come paint their very own unique fish! For a recommeded donation of just $10 per person, individuals will be given all the supplies needed to give their wooden fish a splash of colour. The workshop is recommended for ages 5+, although all are welcome (children under 5 years of age require assistance from an adult).
What makes this a community art project?
The Museum on Tower Hill and the Parry Sound Coast Guard Base have teamed up to decorate the fence along the Fitness Trail with these wooden fish. This art project began in 2019, although not all of our fish are painted so we need you help! Once all the wooden fish cut outs have been uniquely decorated by our artistic community, we will hang them along the trail. What better way to get recognition for your creativity, then by having friends, family, cottagers and tourists see your work while out and about.
When: Saturday, February 15th & Sunday, February 16th, 2020
Where: Museum on Tower Hill
Time: 1 pm to 3 pm *both days
Cost: Recommended donation of $10.00 |
