Join us in welcoming Genealogist, Kaye Prince-Hollenberg.
In Canada adoption records are handled at a provincial/territorial level. In this session well look at how rules for access vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, the different resources available to adopted persons or other family members, and what to do once you have identifying and non-identifying information at hand. Well also briefly touch on how DNA testing can be used by adoptees to locate information on their birth families.
