Georgian Bay Wildflowers, is an exhibition of artworks created by local artist, Bert Liverance.
Each painting in the show depicts a three-dimensional, realistic and vibrantly colourful wildflower that can be found in the Georgian Bay area. An informational panel about the depicted wildflower will accompany each painting.
Join us on May 27th, for the official opening of Georgian Bay Wildflowers!
Event Schedule:
11am - 4pm: Bert Liverance will be painting on-site
5pm - 6pm: A members only ceremony will be held and include light refreshments
Prints of the artworks are available for sale in the museum gift shop.

BERT LIVERANCE
Award-winning artist, Bert Liverance, creates larger than life floral paintings that are so alive youre sure you can smell them. As a sculptor turned painter, Bert achieves a three-dimensional feeling through a highly realistic rendering of light and shadow. Bold compositions and vibrant colours round out his trademark style.
Bert has been recognized by the McMichael Canadian Art Gallery, Botanical Artists of Canada, and the American Society of Botanical Artists. He has also designed floral coins for the Royal Canadian Mint. His work has been featured in publications, galleries, and juried exhibitions throughout North America and his paintings are in public and private collections around the world.
