Join us in welcoming author, Carol Marie Newall.
**This is an IN-PERSON MEETING, which will be held at the Museum on Tower Hill (17 George Street, Parry Sound). The meeting will begin at 7 pm!
This presentation will be led by author, Carol Marie Newall. Newall will discuss her book Outside the Gate, giving an introduction to Winnies story and some background on the impetus for her journey and the research she did over ten years. Newall will also discuss the history of the causes and effects of the British Child Migration.
Presenter Bio
Carol Marie Newall is a mother of three and grandmother of four who lives in the Muskoka Lakes district north of Toronto with her husband and granddaughter. When taking a break from writing, she enjoys reading and writing Instagram book reviews, decorating, gathering with friends and family, and hiking the nearby trails with her standard poodle, Luc. She graduated from the Toronto Metropolitan University School of Business in 1967. This is her first book.
